We are looking for a full-time Sales Representative to join our team in Snow Hill, NC.
The sales representative will be responsible for gaining new accounts as well as managing established accounts assigned.
The sales representative would be responsible for maximizing sales opportunities in all areas of produce, including but not limited to retail, foodservice, and export business.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Increase sales and profits through effective business development and strong relationships with new and existing customers Review and submit orders taken by email, phone, fax, or database portal.
Proactively achieve sales goals set by management.
Work with other sales team members and packing facility staff to ensure optimal customer service and support, providing solutions for any customer complaints.
Work with team members and customers to ensure high customer satisfaction Keep a continuous knowledge of the industry by understanding the market including, competition, pricing, products, and trends Track efforts and communication in a CRM database Participate in sales meetings and reporting.
Attend relevant sales functions and activities such as industry trade shows, exhibits, customer visits, etc.
Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Meeting or exceeding sales goals Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services Maintain client records.
Requirements:
Effective communication skills both written and verbal A commitment to excellent customer service Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Strong diligence Excellent organizational skills Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Ability to travel by air, train, car as the situation dictates Preferred but not required:
